For children from 18 months to 30 months (+); at our Mack Street House)

We offer both full-time and part-time toddler spaces (minimum 2 days per week) in our Toddler Group downstairs.

Based on the Early Learning for Every Child Today (ELECT) document, children are observed by staff in all areas of development (fine motor, gross motor, language, cognitive, spatial and social/emotional) as well as on areas of individual interest. These observations allow teachers to connect areas of interest to developmental needs and plan program activities accordingly.

Moving to the Brock Street House!

Once children are of Preschool age (over 30 months), they transition to the Brock Street House, as space availability allows, and we move children in groups of 2 to 3 so that they make the move with their friends. To allow children to become comfortable with the centre, the program and the teachers, children have “visits” accompanied by one of their familiar teachers during the two weeks prior to the permanent move.
